our homestead (visit us)

We are a small family farmstead and Specialty Gift & Gourmet Shop located in Southern Vermont, at the Scenic Route 100, near Mount Snow and Stratton Mountain Resorts.  We are currently closed due to COVID, but please check back soon of follow us on Instagram for our Summer Schedule.  (Our farm stand remains open!)

WHEN TO VISIT:

During regular business routine, our gift shop (more info here!) is usually open holidays and weekends, and whenever we can!

Although we are open year-round, we are a small homestead family business and may have an unusual schedule or unexpected closures (for example, when we go on a family trip!)  We advise calling or texting us at 917-999-6793 before visiting, just to make sure!

WHERE WE ARE LOCATED:

Our address is 5236 VT-100, West Wardsboro, VT 05360 (corner of Rt.100 & Stratton-Arlington Rd.)

The GPS works very well to our location, HOWEVER, you are likely to lose GPS signal during your last half-hour before you reach us – program your GPS while you have connection and then do NOT refresh it or search for other details (it will keep on route that way, even if you lose cell phone signal!)

WHO/WHAT WE ARE:

We are a hodgepodge of engaging programs focused on Nature, Art and History!! (Sometimes more!!)

We have slowly been turning our property back into a farm – we have been at it since the Fall 2019, slowly but surely! – and we are excited to be able to share our products and joy with the community.

We have quail and chicken (and their nutritious eggs for sale at the farm-stand!)  We have rescued goats and bunnies (come enjoy their antics and give them a healthy treat!)

SPECIALTY GIFT & GOURMET SHOP:

We have a small, but very picturesque and engaging gift shop – more info here.

FARM VISIT, NATURE & EDUCATION:

We intend for our farm to be open to the public and a source of community connection, education, and memorable experiences for all ages.  (Follow us on Instagram/Facebook or sign up – Join the Thread – to receive event invitations and news!)

In warm weather, you may choose to run around the field or explore the woods; or maybe you will sit by our apple trees? Or lay on the grassy hill to take in some lazy sunshine…  During cold weather, enjoy the warmth and crackling of an outdoor fire, study the patterns and secrets of bare branches against blue skies, build snow castles or search for wildlife tracks!

We offer a variety of cultural and craft experiences, either at the farm, to-go kits, mail orders, or at events in our community/area.  Browse the menu at the top/side of page for more information on the programs and options.

FARM-STAND & COMMUNITY SUPPORT:

We are also the proud “keepers” of a Community Farm-Stand, Cyclist/Hiker Support Station, and a Little Free Library Charter!

The stand is located at the corner of Rt. 100 and Stratton-Arlington Rd; it is open 24 hrs, on a honor-system basis.  Leave us a “hello” if you stop by!

These are small steps towards our vision for the property, but we are very excited for every single achievement – come join us!
